    The Tasting Room Manager will also be responsible for the guest experience, employee development, and operational areas of responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a high volume bar or restaurant with an emphasis on customer service and providing a world class experience for our guests, community, and team members.   • FACILITIES MANAGER
    FACILITIES MANAGER, MIRAMAR, SAN DIEGO

    Position Summary:

    Facility Managers are responsible for overseeing multiple shifts of employees in various areas of production and facilities. They are expected to set an example for their team, and for others in the facility. One of the key roles of the Facilities Manager is ensuring the safety and productivity of the brewery is top priority. Managers are responsible for completing routine audits and inspection checks to ensure brewery compliance with company and local city, state and federal ordinances. Facility Managers are expected to hold their team to Ballast Point standards and following our Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook policies and procedures, along with Ballast Point’s Mission and Values. Facility Managers are expected to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as with others.

    Responsibilities:

    • Effectively schedule maintenance employees to ensure that needs at all facilities are met timely, while eliminating overtime and communicating realistic timelines to managers at individual facilities.
    • Ensure our breweries run at peak production with little down time- continue to upgrade our equipment maintenance and review programs, while implementing preventative maintenance programs at all facilities.
    • Ensure our packaging lines are running at peak performance at all times.
    • Build upon the existing efforts to make our breweries a show case (clean and well organized).
    • Continuously search for qualified candidates to build and manage an effective team to help maintain equipment at all production facilities.
    • Manages facilities operations to provide a safe work environment for employees, visitors and customers.
    • Mentors and supervises facilities team members to ensure the facilities operations run smoothly including the receptionist, mail delivery, package shipping/receiving, maintenance, supplies, kitchens, vending machines, copiers, restrooms, plants, HVAC, fire, security, monitoring, personnel moves, transfers and cleaning.
    • Conducts routine facilities audits to ensure facilities are being properly maintained, vendors are performing per their contracts, safety and security systems are operating properly, regularly scheduled maintenance is performed on equipment, HVAC systems, elevators and other equipment and all areas of the facility.
    • Strong accounting/financial understanding of cost controls and budgets.
    • Ability to manage time and complex deadline-driven workload; includes planning, organizing, setting reasonable priorities and good follow-through.
